Kindergarten Update

Kindergarten is going great!  Braxton says his favorite things are riding the bus (no seat belt or car seat!) and rest time (no nap required - just 15 minutes of listening to calm music).  Here's a photo of his class in action (Braxton is in the bottom right corner of the photo).

Today we watched Brittney cheer for the football game.  She did awesome! The boys had fun hanging out together too.

1st Day of School

Braxton was so excited and so ready to start school.  He was full of confidence and had a great first day in Kindergarten.  He said his teacher is "super nice" and told me that the principal was "dressed in wedding clothes".  I asked what that meant and he said, "you know, he wears gentleman clothes" (which I finally figured out meant a suit and tie). He said it was fun to ride the bus, he liked lunch, liked going outside to play, and got to take a tour of the school.  Overall Braxton said it was "good day"  

Braxton's Summer Journal

This summer at preschool Braxton wrote one journal entry (one phrase & drawing) each day.  Here are some of the highlights with spelling translations.

Cousins

We had a great Saturday at the Cunninghams - hanging out, doing bubble science experiments, and playing outside.  Super fun!

Last days at preschool

Braxton officially starts elementary school on Tuesday!  Today his preschool teacher emailed me this photo with a note that says "Braxton is ready for Kindergarten!"
